Deeply rooted in my love for photography is the fact that capturing the perfect photo has the capacity to bring immense joy to another. The impact that this art form can have on a person, couple, or family is what inspires me to do this work. And in my heart, I believe that everyone – EVERYONE – should have the opportunity to experience that love & joy.

 

I have carried this belief with me for many years while taking photos for friends and family. And I vowed when I decided to become “official” that I would maintain a mission to spread the love that this world desperately needs, through my craft.

 

I know that, for some, the idea of booking and paying for a professional photography session seems out of reach. I don’t believe that these folks value quality photos any less. For whatever reason – financial burdens, life stressors, overwhelmingly distracting or grief-stricken situations – it just simply doesn’t seem possible. But it can be.

 

My special mission will play out like this. A portion of the money from each session I book will be tucked away in a “love fund.” That money will be used to fund photography sessions for those that need it, but otherwise may not be able to book a session. Perhaps it is due to finances, or perhaps it is because a family too busy dealing with a terminal illness and never thought to do this for themselves. Whatever the reason, I want to fill that void.

 

Through an application process (see below), you can nominate yourself or someone you know to be considered for this gift. I will review and pray over all of these applications, and will do my best to fulfill them in a timely fashion, as the fund waxes and wanes.

 

I also welcome and encourage pure donations to the “love fund.” Clients or visitors to my website can donate directly to this fund without booking a session. (See below for how you can donate.) Together, we can all take part in spreading love through photography.
